Billing, Subscriptions, and Payment Options Explained

Billing & Subscriptions
RnkRocket is billed monthly or annually through Stripe, the same payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. There are no setup fees, no long-term contracts, and no hidden charges.
Plans and Pricing
RnkRocket has four plans designed for different business sizes:
- Basic — £9.95 per month. Ideal for solo traders and small websites just getting started with SEO.
- Pro — £19.95 per month. For small businesses that want keyword tracking, competitor analysis, and automated insights.
- Pro+ — £34.95 per month. For growing businesses that need more tracked keywords, more analyses, and deeper reporting.
- Agency — £69.99 per month. For agencies managing multiple client projects with high-volume needs.
Annual Billing
Choosing annual billing saves you the equivalent of two months compared to paying monthly. Your subscription is charged as a single payment at the start of your billing year. If you decide to switch from monthly to annual, the change takes effect at your next renewal date.

Upgrading Your Plan
When you upgrade to a higher plan, the change takes effect immediately. You will only be charged for the remainder of your current billing cycle on a prorated basis — so if you are halfway through your month when you upgrade, you pay roughly half the difference for that period. Your next full billing cycle will be charged at the new rate.
To upgrade, go to Account Settings → Billing and select the plan you want.
Downgrading Your Plan
Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep full access to your current plan until your renewal date. After that, your account moves to the lower plan and features are adjusted accordingly.
If your current usage exceeds the limits of the lower plan (for example, you have more tracked keywords than the plan allows), you will not lose data but some features may be paused until you are within limits. To add extra quota without upgrading, see Top-Up Packs.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time from Account Settings → Billing with a single click. There are no cancellation fees. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing cycle, after which your account moves to a read-only state. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you decide to return.
Invoices and Receipts
All invoices are generated automatically and available in Account Settings → Billing. You can download PDF copies of any invoice at any time. Invoices are also emailed to your registered email address after each payment.
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. We do not store your card details directly — all payment information is handled securely by Stripe.
At this time we do not support PayPal, bank transfers, or invoiced billing.
Payment Failures
If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry the charge over the following days. You will receive an email notification if a payment fails. You can update your payment method at any time in Account Settings → Billing to prevent service interruption.
VAT and Tax
Prices shown are exclusive of VAT where applicable. UK businesses will see VAT applied at the standard rate at checkout. A VAT receipt is included on every invoice.
