What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how RnkRocket (operated by SDB Digital Ltd) uses cookies and similar technologies on rnkrocket.com and app.rnkrocket.com. It covers what we collect, why, and what choices you have.

Your Choices

Consent on this site is managed by RnkCookie, a consent management platform built and operated by SDB Digital Ltd (the same company that operates RnkRocket). When you first visit, the RnkCookie banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. You can accept all categories, reject non-essential ones, or choose per category.

Your choice is stored in a cookie called rnk_cookie_consent, set by RnkCookie on the domain you are visiting. It records which categories you accepted and lasts up to 1 year. On Safari and iOS browsers, built-in privacy protections (Intelligent Tracking Prevention) may shorten this to around 7 days — if that happens the banner simply reappears and asks again. To change your preference, delete that cookie in your browser's site data — the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also block cookies and site storage entirely from your browser settings.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active. Required for the site to work.

• • Authentication — keeps you logged in on app.rnkrocket.com
• • Consent preference — remembers your cookie choice (rnk_cookie_consent, set by RnkCookie)
• • Session state — maintains form data and navigation during your visit

Analytics Cookies

Only set if you accept the analytics category.

• • Google Analytics 4 — tracks page views, scroll depth, and engagement. Uses Google Consent Mode v2. Data is sent to Google's servers.
• • Microsoft Clarity — session replays, heatmaps, and page-performance measurements that show us how visitors actually use the site. Clarity's code is not loaded at all until you accept analytics. Data is sent to Microsoft's servers.

Marketing Cookies

Only set if you accept the marketing category.

• • Meta Pixel — measures whether visitors who saw our ads on Instagram or Facebook then visited the site. Facebook's code is not loaded at all until you accept marketing cookies; if you later withdraw consent, its tracking consent is revoked.

What Happens When You Decline

If you reject analytics and marketing cookies:

• • No analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics
• • Microsoft Clarity is never loaded
• • The Meta Pixel is never loaded
• • The consent preference cookie is still set (essential — remembers your choice)
• • Google Consent Mode v2 cookieless pings may still be sent. These contain no cookies and no personal identifiers. Google uses them for aggregate conversion modelling. This is standard behaviour under Google's Advanced Consent Mode.

Measurement That Runs Regardless of Consent

Two pieces of first-party measurement run whether or not you accept cookies. Neither sets cookies and neither identifies you across visits:

• • First-party funnel measurement — we send basic, anonymous funnel events (such as "page viewed" or "button clicked") to our own servers to understand where visitors drop off. These events carry a random identifier held in sessionStorage under the key rnk_funnel_jid. It exists only for the current browser tab session, is wiped when you close the tab, is never stored in a cookie, and cannot connect one visit to the next.
• • Performance monitoring — a small first-party script (our own RnkRocket real-time monitoring loader) measures page-load performance and errors so we can keep the site fast and working. It sets no cookies and collects no personal information. We treat both of these as legitimate-interest infrastructure, which is why they are not behind the consent banner.

• • Google Analytics 4 — analytics (consent-gated)
• • Microsoft Clarity — session replay and heatmaps (consent-gated)

• • Stripe — payment processing (essential, only on app.rnkrocket.com during checkout)
• • Sentry — error monitoring (essential, helps us fix bugs)

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not make material changes that reduce your privacy choices without updating the consent banner.
